SHARESTUFF

1. What is ShareStuff?
ShareStuff is a peer-to-peer rental platform where people can rent items from each other—like tools, electronics, baby gear, and more—instead of buying them. It helps you save money, reduce waste, and earn from the things you already own.
2. How does it work?
It’s simple:
List an item you own but don’t use often.
Browse items others have listed.
Chat with the owner or renter to agree on the details.
Meet up and exchange the item for the agreed time.
That’s it!
3. Is it free to use ShareStuff?
Creating an account and browsing items is completely free. We only charge a small 15% commission on each successful rental transaction.
4. What kind of items can I list?
You can list anything that’s legal, safe, and useful for short-term use—like drills, bikes, strollers, tents, kitchen appliances, camera gear, and more. If you're not sure, just ask us!
5. Is it safe to rent my items to others?
Yes, your safety is our priority. As a lender, you have full control over who can rent your items and for how long. To protect your belongings, a security deposit is collected from the renter before each rental. This deposit helps ensure that items are returned on time and in good condition. We're also working on additional safety features such as user ratings and optional insurance.
6. How do I receive or deliver an item?
We offer flexible delivery options to make sharing easy for everyone:
– Self pick-up or drop-off: You can meet in person at a mutually agreed location.
– City lockers: Use one of our smart lockers across the city for contactless exchange.
– Courier service: You can request a delivery using our partner courier service for added convenience.
Just choose the option that works best for you during the rental process.
